How do heat pumps work?
Heat pumps are the environmentally friendly solution for providing heating and hot water to your home. They deliver the same level of comfort as a boiler while emitting far fewer CO2 emissions.
An air source heat pump extracts heat from the outside air, even in cold weather, and transfers it inside for heating. Like a fridge freezer in reverse, it uses a refrigeration cycle to absorb heat from the outdoor air, then amplifies and releases it into the indoor space through a heat exchanger, providing efficient heating.
